Today is my last day in College Station for the summer. I'll be in America for two more weeks before I leave for my internship abroad so I'm slowly saying goodbye to the things I love most here.
Today I said goodbye to my porch.
Dear porch,
Thank you.
For giving me a place to listen to the early morning quiet,
to feel the cool afternoon breeze,
to take naps in the luxe heat,
and to drink far too much wine & laugh too hard.
From staying up till dawn talking with friends, to falling asleep in the afternoons while listening to the Civil Wars, this is by far one of my happiest places in College Station.
I wonder if they have porches this good abroad.
