A couple weeks ago we took a trip to Cortona, where we were met with art, history, and a caffe with soul.
In search for caldo cioccolata we were wooed by the sweetest old man into Caffe' Degli Artisti where we were welcomed with a sampling of regional desserts, caldo cioccolata, blossoming tea, and conversation with the owner who talked so lovingly about his home & his family that we immediately decided we had to come back.
We spent the rest of the afternoon tucked away in that small caffe talking, laughing (mostly at my tea preparing techniques), and eating sugar.
Honestly I think at one point we were literally eating pure sugar.
Honestly I think at one point we were literally eating pure sugar.
It was a wonderful day, as I was shown once again love in an indirect sense,
from the love presented in creating our food & drinks
to the love shared while speaking to people who love what they do.
I have found la dolce vita is full, in every sense, and comprised of every aspect of your surroundings:
your family, your craft, your culture, and your country.
